A talented general of Vietnam listed one of the ten most talented generals of the world, but still a very simple and friendly, his name is Vo Nguyen Giap - a "living legend" of Viet Nam, "Napoleon's Vietnam".

Vo Nguyen Giap, the fifth child of a poor farming family was born on August 25th, 1911 in Quang Binh province of Vietnam. He is not tall, strong build, but he sprightful, active and quick-witted, besides he can sometimes be rather impatient. Although he comes from a poor family, he studies very well. He graduated from secondary school with the highest score, and continued studying at Nation school at Hue later. He used to be a history teacher for a while.

He joined the army and received into the Communist Party of Viet Nam when he was very young and he became the best excellent student of President Ho Chi Minh. In addition, he was not only in charge of managing the People's Armed Forces Vietnam, but also he was the first General of Vietnam's Army.

During the time of the war against the French colonialists, also American imperialists, he had led directly the Vietnam's Army gone to from victory to victory. Typically, one of the resounding battles of him was the Dien Bien Phu Victory on May 7th 1954. People said that it was the victory changed the history; it encouraged other colonized countries in over the world against the enemy.

I learned Vietnam's history, I really impressed with the quality of his leadership both strategy and tactic. The Hero of People's Armed Forces in Vietnam who with small stature, but he was gaining so many achievements in two of the wars, it contributed to general victory of country.
