A. B. GUESS [intransitive, transitive] to try and give an answer or make a judgement about something without being sure of all the facts: cố gắng đưa ra câu trả lời hoặc cho một nhận xét về cái gì/điều gì mà không chắc chắn về tất cả các sự kiện/sự thật = đoán...
I don't really know. I'm just guessing.
We can only guess at her reasons for leaving. (guess at sth)

C. "JUDGE"
1. form opinion: to form an opinion about somebody/something, based on the information you have: hình thành quan điểm/ý kiến về một người/sự việc... nào đó dựa vào các thông tin mà bạn có = đánh giá, xét đoán, cho rằng...
As far as I can judge, all of them are to blame.
Judging by her last letter, they are having a wonderful time.
To judge from what he said, he was very disappointed.
judge somebody/something (on something) Schools should not be judged only on exam results.

2. estimate: to guess the size, amount, etc. of something: ước lượng, đánh giá... về kích cỡ, số lượng... của cái gì.

3. in competition - judge (something): to decide the result of a competition; to be the judge in a competition: quyết định kết quả của một cuộc thi đấu

4. give opinion: - judge (somebody): to give your opinion about somebody, especially when you disapprove of them: đưa ra ý kiến/quan điểm của bạn về một người nào đó, đặc biệt là khi phản đối họ = phán xét...

5. in court: to decide whether somebody is guilty or innocent in a court: quyết định một người nào đó có tội hay vô tội tại tòa án = xét xử...
