1. made out of: to refer to the one (main) source, the only/one kind of things, or the surprising thing that is used to make something. => cái gì đó được làm từ một nguồn chính, một vật liệu duy nhất, hoặc một thứ gây ngạc nhiên.
The Christmas tree is made out of books.
=> It's all books.
This remote control is made out of plastic.
=> It's all plastic (or completely plastic).
This table is made out ouf wood.
=> It's all wood (or completely wood).
The jewelry was made out of copper.
The bricks are made out of clay.
All the furniture were made out of oak.
We made a birdcage out of the leftover wood.
2. made of: to refer to the raw material from which an object is constructed etc => The material doesn't change the original form. = Nguyên liệu/vật liệu/chất liệu không qua chế biến, vẫn giữ được hình dạng ban đầu.
The house is made of bricks.
=> you can see the bricks.
My shirt is made of cotton. (Áo sơ mi của tôi may bằng vải cotton.)
=> you can see the cotton.
This table is made of wood/plastic/steel.

Note: "made out of" and "made of" are interchangeable.

3. made from: to refer to the raw material from which something has been produced by a process of manufacture => The material changes the original form. (they cannot be brought back to the original form) = Nguyên liệu/vật liệu/chất liệu đã qua chế biến, không còn hình dạng ban đầu.
Wine is made from grapes.
=>You can't see grapes in the wine.
Paper is made from wood/rags. (NOT Paper is made of wood.)
=> You can't find wood inside a piece of paper.
Butter is made from milk.
Bơ được làm từ sửa.
Cotton is made from the cotton plant.
Vải cotton được làm từ cây bông vải.
4. made with: to refer to a mixture of ingredients or part of pieces; or something intangible ( – hữu hình : love, care, passion, sweetness, innocence). = một hỗn hợp, hoặc một số mãnh gì đó, hoặc cái gì đó hữu hình.
These glasses are made with plastic, metal and glass.
Cake is made with flour, sugar and eggs.
Cake is made with love/care/special energy.
However, in daily English most of people don't really worry or care about these. These are the statistics:

My shirt is made from cotton. 21M => is also common.
My shirt is made with cotton. 3.2M => no problem.
My shirt is made out of cotton. 2M => is also very common.
So don't worry too much, they will use all those sentences. But this is an English lesson so let's practice a little bit more.
